Economist Impact x HSBC Life

Tech Redefines Ageing

Explore the lifestyle of healthy ageing in the digital age.

#Editorial

HSBC Life, in collaboration with Economist Impact, launched a content series to explore cultural attitudes towards ageing and technology enablement. The series explores the barriers impeding digital adoption among the elderly while shining a light on the individuals who are thriving despite these challenges.

Working with Economist Impact, we featured two Hong Kong celebrities who defy age stereotypes: Lawrence Cheng and Deborah Woo.

Interviewing celebrities can be intimidating, but with a human approach to non-fiction storytelling, it becomes an enjoyable and enriching endeavor. By recognizing the importance of finding the ‘human’ in the cast; uncovering meaningful personal anecdotes; and getting the client on board with this direction, we were able to find the right locations to create a relaxed and intimate space for conversations to flow naturally within a short amount of time. In addition to getting great insights from our cast, this process also unearthed authentic and personal sharings, which elevated the theme.
